Subjects?

Hey guys

I am an international student living in Singapore and currently the equivalent of a junior. I am pretty much dead cert on applying to Wharton next year

I am currently pursuing GCE 'A' Levels and have to pick my subjects. I was thinking of taking History instead of Physics. It will be the most rigorous curriculum regardless

Can anyone advise me if taking History would work against me when applying? Physics obviously is the more quantitive subject and perhaps more suitable for a place like Wharton

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question guys. Just want to reassure myself. Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

That’s an extremely extremely minor point. Both are suitable because both can show your academic potential.

As someone who took a History A-Level (CIE board), I can only encourage you to do it. It was a very popular subject, a lot of people in our class went on to study business and History was sometimes even required (mostly in UK, though). I personally find it more interesting and useful, but if you prefer Physics you should be fine with that too. Though it’s not an easy subject at all. Don’t be fooled by anyone who says that.

Good luck!
