Submit an ACT of 33 for Columbia?

My son was rejected with a 34 ACT, GPA 4.0 UW and 4.7 W and AP scores of 5s but being from KC will make your child more geographically desirable.

I’m leaning towards not submitting,

There’s literally no right answer. You have to do what you’re most comfortable with. That’s the right answer.

Less than 4% got in last year. A 33 likely won’t be why you get in or the 96% reality is that you don’t.

And not submitting shouldn’t per what all these colleges say, impact you.

What is clear as at the few colleges that have published test submit or not, the acceptance rate trends higher on submitters. But those kids are likely strong in other areas.

whatever your level of comfort is, go for it.

Submit your best package, hold your head high, cross your fingers, and love your acceptances in the meantime!!

If this is the case, then you have good reason to be comfortable with your inclination.
