<p>I am applying to transfer to UVA and UNC. I'm currently a freshman and I applied to, and got denied, from both before this year. Can I reuse the same essay I used when I applied last time? Will they even notice? Any thoughts are appreciated...thanks</p>

<p>If you got denied from both schools using that essay, I would suggest rewriting it simply because of that. I am not saying it was the deciding factor in the admission decision, but the fact that it didn't help you indicates it is probably wise to rethink it.</p>
<p>Also, if they remember you/have a file on you still for some reason or another, I think that it would reflect poorly on you that you reused the same essay.</p>
