Which score set would Cornell see as better, or are they so close it doesn't matter? If they're close would it be advantageous to send both, or not really. (I would like to save money if possible.)

SAT: 770M 790CR 1560
(730W 10essay with superscore, 630W 9 essay without superscore: but I heard that don't look at it?)
ACT: 35C 36E 35M 34R 34S (10 essay)

I would say definitely send both. Having both will help you since both scores are pretty great. But if I were to choose one to send, I would send ACT. Your english, math, writing scores in ACT are amazing. Good luck (:

They supposedly do not look at the W score and they do not report the W score when reporting CR & M stats, but they do record the W score on the applicant’s portal. I found this interesting as another school my son applied to did not record W score, and I didn’t recall that other school mentioning how they treated W.

I agree with others who suggest you submit both scores. The superscored SAT sub-section scores were the ones that appeared on the portal. Cornell does superscore and also requires you to submit all testing history.
