Submitted a CSS Profile with a mistake (left out a 0). How to correct it?

for the value of my home, instead of putting 530000, i put down 53000.

i submitted this several months ago and just found out today. will they see this as an obvious error, or do i have to correct it somehow?

can i resubmit the css profile to them? if not, how should i correct this?

It is not possible to make changes to the information that you provided to the College Board now that you have submitted your application. If you need to change any of the information, do so directly with the colleges and programs to which you are applying. A printed copy of this acknowledgment can be used to send the corrected information to your colleges and programs. DO NOT send the revised information to the College Board. To return to your acknowledgment at a later time, click on “Check Status of Application” on the PROFILE Home Page.

CodeH – I did something similar, except that I accidentally added a zero!

187 is right about not being able to change the Profile online. I printed out a copy of the page in question, marked and corrected the mistake, and sent it with a cover letter to the financial aid department at each school. One college said they might require documentation re: the amended figure, but in the end they did not.

Also - in each cover letter I requested that they email me to let me know they had received the corrections, just to make sure. I am SO tired of all this stuff…!
