So.. on the CSU applications, I've submitted one with incorrect info regarding the honors level of certain courses that were labeled honors classes, but aren't approved for the extra honors credit.

For example.. I entered the course Algebra II 1/2 (Honors), but also selected "Honors" for the Honors Type. Should I contact the admissions office to correct this or will it be fine if I have already met the maximum limit of 8 semesters counting for extra honors credit?

Basically... I have 3 AP Courses and an approved honors class totaling to 8 semesters but I mistakenly entered "Honors" for additional courses that are not approved for honors credit in one of my CSU applications.

I see what you mean, and that it doesn’t matter for admissions because you have the max honors. But it isn’t good to have put honors for courses that weren’t eligible.

Can you ask your GC about this? I’d take his advice. If you don’t have one, I’d recommend a brief email to set the record straight. Say you designated certain courses that were not eligible for honors weighting. List those courses. Say you already have courses that are eligible that constitute the maximum amount weighting allowed, list those courses.

Thank you @BrownParent for responding :). I have sent an email to the admissions office regarding the application error with your instructions. I will wait for a response from the CSU (Cal Poly Pomona) and see the outcome.
