On my application I put that my parents have 'some college' turns out they dont, should I call and have them fix this. I know it wont disqualify or void my application, but will it increase my chances of being admitted enough to go through the trouble of changing?

Absolutely not! don’t call, it’s so not worth your time. There is NO WAY the university can prove that your parents didn’t have “some college”. They could have only completed like 2 classes at CC, but never earned any type of degree. That still counts as SOME COLLEGE. If you lied and said your dad was a harvard grad, well that’s different. But no, it’s totally not worth calling and changing it. I don’t even think Universities look that kind of stuff up anyway unless you claim you have legacy.

Not a big deal. I’m first-gen, and it’s never helped me get anywhere, pfft!
