Submitting AP Scores

Hi,
The UCSB website says that we are supposed to submit our AP scores by July 15th. Does this mean my past AP scores of tests that I have taken while I was a sophomore and a junior, or does this mean my AP results of my sophomore, junior, and senior years? As far as I know, we won't get this year's AP scores back until July; will we have enough time to send them in?
Thanks

When you take your AP test it should ask if you want them sent to a certain school. You should have done it then. Now, I believe you have to go to their website and pay a fee for them to send it to UCSB.

I should have, but I didn’t do it then. So I take it they expect my senior ap scores by july 15th as well? Will I have time to turn them in (since we don’t recieve them until July sometime)?

Anyone?
Thanks

I’m not sure… but I think that when UCSB says they want it in by july 15th, they want it ALL by july 15th. You have your AP number right? Just call in and ask them to send it to UCSB! I’m doing the same thing right now! Except I dont have my AP number, and hopefully they wont mind =/

how did that work out for you?

I had to call in my AP scores awhile ago. The process is annoying because it’s all through the phone and you need your credit card and social security number (if you put it on the test) but UCSB got my scores in a reasonable amount of time. I suggest that you do it now and get it over with.

Sorry to ask again, but I just wanted to clarify. Do you absolutely NEED to submit ALL of your AP scores? Even if I got a 2 on my US History exam junior year? I submitted all my AP test scores from senior year though, if that changes anything.

I’m not sure if you have to send scores that can’t get you any credit…but I think you should send them all. You never know.

Oh ok, I probably will send it anyway because I self-reported it on my application.

i had my ap scores sent to UCSB this year and had not done so any previous years. I know they will send all the scores but how do i pay and does anyone know the link i cant find my ap scores in collegeboard.com

Wait, they send ALL of your ap scores free of charge or do you have to pay?

I think on your AP answer sheet, there was an option to send scores to only 1 school of choice. I believe this service, if you put down a school at the time, is FREE OF CHARGE (tho i am not 100%). I also believe that yes, your most recent AP scores include all of the previous tests you have taken too.

And r0bert18, AP scores are handled through the phone, not through their website, which is sort of dumb considering it is so easy to order scores online for SAT’s and stuff.
I believe you need to have kept your AP number (those label stickers) or there is no way to track down your scores. The fees, like always, are pretty pathetic.

So Lawcha, if I didn’t send in one of my AP scores from junior year, but I did my senior year, will they automatically send my junior year one too? Is it really impossible to send scores without your AP number?

Clee09,

I am only assuming that the senior report includes all previous scores because my Junior year report also included the grades from my sophomore year. Also, when you send your most recent SAT score report, it includes ALL scores from the tests you have taken, so i ASSUME it does that for AP scores.

As for knowing your AP#

"You will need the following information before calling:

* AP number. Your AP number can be found in your AP Student Pack or grade report. Important: We encourage you to save your AP number and AP Student Pack in the event that you wish to access AP Automated Grade Reporting Services.

 • Social security number, if you provided this on your answer sheet
 • Date of birth
 • Exam year that corresponds with your AP number
 • The appropriate four-digit college code(s), if you’re requesting to send grades to colleges. College codes can be found in your AP Student Pack or online by searching for the college at the College Board’s Colleges and Scholarships search page.
 • A valid credit card number (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa)

"

Thats what it says on the AP website.

When I called in today, they said that the grade sending services would not be available until July 1st. Is there any way around this? If not, will my grades get to UCSB by July 15th if I have them sent on the 1st?
Thanks

I called in with my name, social security number… it was an automated machine…
They’re in… they got in in like a week or two! good luck. oh and i paid $15.

Really? I just called and they said the scores were still unavailable. I wish I could know if I passed my tests before orientation since you get to pick classes, but oh well.

Yeah, I am worried mine wont get there on time…cus I did put what school to send it too but I don’t know if they will send them. I’m just panicking badly.

What’s the phone number we call to do this?
