Submitting Application Before Interview?

<p>So… I have an interview scheduled at Barnard for November 2. </p>

<p>I don’t plan on applying early decision, but I’ve had my application done for a while. I’m just kind of scared to hit submit. I don’t want to submit my application too early and come up with a brand new, amazing essay topic, etc. I also know one of my teachers hasn’t finished/attached her reccommendation to my common app account yet either. </p>

<p>Should I submit my application before going into the interview, or is it okay to wait until after the interview to do so?</p>

<p>It’s fine to submit it either before or after your interview. However, after your interview you may have a bit more to say on your “why Barnard”" essay, I should think.</p>

<p>I was there this summer, and they prefer to interview you before you submit your application. HIH! :)</p>
