Submitting sat scores about a month or so before common app!

DOES THAT MEAN I'M DOOMED?!

I read somewhere that I should submit my SAT scores about a month or so before common app.

The dead line is this November 1st and I still didin't submit my test scores// does that mean it's over for me?

Go online now and send them. You’ll be just fine for your 11/1 school.

College Board says that it can take up to two weeks to process a request for score reports. Just submit your requests now. You’ve still got 10 days - the scores will arrive close enough to the deadline for it not to be a problem.

Schools recommend to submit scores at least 2-4 weeks before deadline to ensure it will be received on time. In addition, it may allow you to track the submission and take some action in case of problem. If everything works smoothly, it should be received in around 1 week. But it may take longer to process when it is near popular deadline dates.

If I wait to send them until the 24th when Oct SAT scores come out, is that okay? will it be in time too?

^ You are taking the risk if it needs to be received by Nov 1.

Depends on the policy of the school you are applying early to. Some even accept November scores.

However, if you have taken SAT in the past and are waiting to see what October scores look like before submitting them, it is a double edged sword. If you know your scores, if they are bad, some schools still need you to submit all but if you turned in previous scores already, you would have fulfilled your obligation.
