Submitting Supplementary Materials in Mid-January?

Hi everyone :) As the title suggests, I'm considering submitting supplementary materials (writing samples) in mid-January for reasons too complicated to get into. Granted that the application deadline is January 1, and they may start reviewing applications from then on, would the mid-January submission still work if all essential parts of the application are in?

Anyway, they accept SAT scores from late January, don't they?

They also accept application updates on recent activities, right?

And if an interviewer recommends that someone send additional materials, even though it's past the submission date, they accept those, too, right?

I'd really appreciate any responses on the matter, and am worried about the disadvantages of submitting mid-January, granted the general application deadline of January 1 after all. From an anxious international student, thank you!

bumpity bump, anybody? :(

Can anyone also answer this question with regards to mid-January submission of an additional Secondary School Report (high school transfers must send SSRs from all schools attended in the past 2 years)?

don’t think you can do that. while there is a little leeway for teacher/school submitted stuff, student apps have to be sent in by the deadline, no ifs ands or buts
