<p>I am considering choosing between substance free housing and vacation housing... JHU does not seem to have both. I am international... ne suggestions?</p>

<p>well if you dont choose vacation housing, you will be kicked out of the dorms during thanksgiving, winter, and spring break.. so if you have something to do during that time, then go for substance free housing... otherwise, i would recommend vacation housing.</p>

<p>It costs money to keep all the dorms running over breaks. They'd have to charge us all extra to allow everyone to stay during breaks. I remember one person at Hopkins saying that at the sub-free dorms they at least make an attempt to sober up before entering. I dont think you have too much to worry about though, Hopkins isn't exactly a party school in the first place.</p>
<p>yup one has to vacate the dorms during the short breaks in between the semesters so internationals r always advised to select vacation housing........ i believe its wolman 4and 5 east this yr.</p>
