Suburban or Urban

Suburban, I love it here, and I'm only 10 minutes from the city if I want to go there.

greenwich village hoo. in New York.

City definately. I'm in the burbs now and I really don't like it all that much. I hate how I have to drive 20+ minutes to do anything. I love how so much is within walking distance in the city, I love the energy and power of a major metropolitan area, I think it's great. I don't know if I'd live somewhere as massive as, say, NYC, but I definately see myself in a major city. I like the urban to my suburban, Philadelphia, perhaps I'll live in Philly one day...

URBAN LIFE FOR SURE. EAST BAY CALIFORNIA. suburbanites are stuck in some fantasy world, i love it when the berkeley students get a dose of reality.

way to rep bay area!

I say city life for life..... i think i would die or cultural suffication in the burbs... i was born and raised in SF and although my opinion may be slightly tainted i think SF is one of the best cities in the world.... ps i dont include places like dallas and phoenix real cities.... my kind of cities are like Paris, NYC, SF, LA, London...etc

i've experienced both, and i prefer urban living by a lot.

suburbs are too quiet...in fact i live off miami and it sucks...hopefully going to live in nyc ;)

<<urban for="" life!="" i="" just="" love="" cities.="" cities="" have="" so="" many="" cultures,="" ideas,="" groups,="" etc.="" all="" in="" a="" small="" area.="" spending="" time="" atlanta.="">></urban>

Atlana isn't a city.

As for me, I prefer urban (namely NYC). Still, the suburbs have their charms, as long as you're not talking about the 12-lane highway, Wal-Mart/IKEA/Applebee's-worshipping variety. I find a backyard BBQ under the summer stars as difficult to pass up as the next guy...

Urban. I really don't like driving around, so good public transportation is a must.. In SoCal, everything's really spread out; I usually take 1 hr-1.5 hrs to get to school (which isn't in my neighborhood) and back. Craziness.

Cities offer so much more stuff to do, and the hodgepodge of people and cultures are so awesome! I'd hate to know everyone and whatever's happening in everyone's lives.. Meeting new people is one of the best things about the city.

Hey I've been to Atlanta and like it. It is rough in some areas but has great shopping and good nightlife.
