Successful GRAMMATIX Stories.

For those of you who are using/have used GRAMMATIX for the CR portion of the SAT, how many hours per day AND for how many months did you practice using the blue book? Also, what was your prior CR score and your new score right now?

I raised my CR score by 100 points in 2 weeks. I am still mastering the strategies, though I think I mastered the SC part.

I don't think I will ever be able to master the SC part. It's either I know the words or not. Right now I am trying to master the passage part.

Well, practice makes perfect. Dont try to memorize vocabulary. The Sparknotes SAT also helped me alot, though its somewhat similar to grammatix.

I improved 110 points studying for a week from Grammatix and CB Blue Book.

Should I spend 1 whole week about 1 hour each day practicing Grammatix on the passage based questions in the blue book? Will I move from a 400 to possibly 500 from that?

Yeah, you sure could. Practice as much as you can and try to make sure that you're improving as you keep practicing.

Considering "Successful ... Stories" correct in the Writing Section would prevent you from being successful on the test.
On the other hand, being retentive of the "success stories" expression might come in handy.
Hopefully nobody will call me a/retentive for making this comment.

what is grammatix? is that something you have to payful?

I think you can go from 400 to 500 with just like practice tests also.

how do u guys improve 110 points in a week or two???
i did improve from a 48 to 61 CR between my sophmore and junior years but on the sat i got a 580
im tryin to improve that at least a 100 points b4 the next testing
so how do u guys use the strategies
do u skim the passage or just skip it and go to the questions
for me that strategy diesnt seem to work because i feel i have to read the passage in order to get the main idea
if u skim it then how do u do it?
