People who used Grammatix, who much did your scores go up?

Im just curious. Im thinking about buying grammatix and i want to know how much it helped on people's CR score.
So can you please post how much your CR score went up by using grammatix?
Also, if you can remember, can you post how long it took to raise that score by using grammatix?

people, please...

I just bought it, Ill tell you if it is worth it in a few days (Although I bought it trusting Xiggi who said its an amazing guide)

Actually I used it for Math, what a waste! My score dropped slightly on the Math, imporved slightly on the verbal and remained the same on the writing. Maximum SAT was a much better fit for me.

Math was the weakest area covered on Grammatix; however, my reading and writing scores were very improved. The stradegies were very helpful and necessary for students to know before they take the SAT. Depending on how high your scores are, the book can help or hurt your score. The lower you score on the actual SAT, the easier for you to improve your scores.

Are the reading and writing techniques in Grammatix better than the ones by PR, Kaplan, etc?

I have been using the CR and writing techniques from PR so far in my practice tests, and they're helping a lot. I'll also be practicing with the CB tests.

Please no more of these Grammatix threads just post on the thread that says "Gramatix". When you got a thread of 20+ pages of happy campers i dont think you need much consideration.

Yes it is better to use that, all the information we can provide has pretty much been provided there.

what is Grammatix?

Grammatix, while may not work for some, it has worked for many. I am hereby not to promote the product in anyway, but to simply give a personal experience with this book.

Prior to using Grammatix, I consistently got about 12 wrong total on the CR sections, of which about 10 were the passage-based questions.

However, after using it, I now get about 6 wrong total, of which about 4 are the passage-based questions.

I'd like to point out that the strategies aren't magical themselves--that is, they do not simply gurantee you an increase. However, what it does is provide a different perspective in approaching the questions.

Furthermore, the dedication I have put into should be accounted for. I have practiced extensively on 7 of the eight tests out of the Official Guide. By extensive, I mean about an hour each day. repeatedly reviewing both the correct and incorrect answers, and analyzing carefully why it is, or is not the correct answer. Afterall, this sums up to about 60 hours of prepping for SAT.

Certainly, with such hours of prepping, CR score is ought to increase anyway, but I believe that Grammatix did help to a certain extent.

I hope this helped!
