Suggest some matches/safeties for me and I will look into them! THANKS :)

My suggestion is to go to Welcome to TryEngineering.org On that page you will find a university search engine for engineering schools that will allow you to specify some of the characteristics you're looking for, including the type of engineering you are interested in. Each profile will include information about the admitted stats of students in the engineering department. Sort them out, visit their websites, and you'll soon have a nice list going. Good Luck!

thanks carolyn. I will look through that and research those unis.

But I still would really appreciate if someone can list off some common matches and safeties for a person of my stats! Thanks!

bump 10 chars!

May I suggest WPI? They offer scholarships for FIRST Robotics.

Thanks fireflyscout. I'll look into WPI (I've heard of them from FIRST before)

Any other suggestions? Just a few more and I'll be satisfied

Thanks!

If you're in California, look at Cal Poly SLO and USC. You're in at one or more of the UCs although no guarantee for UCB/UCLA.

If you are female, Smith College’s Picker Engineering Program is superb and has a wonderful approach to teaching engineering. In addition, you get an excellent liberal arts education. Smith is known for academic excellence, terrific advising and mentoring and available, committed professors.

Smith is also part of the 5-college consortium (with Amherst, Hampshire, Mt. Holyoke and Univ Mass). You can take classes at any.

You can find more information on their engineering program at: Smith College: Picker Engineering Program and at: Smith College: Picker Engineering Program

haha, not female.
Indian male

You might have a chance at Cornell.

Which colleges are your "reaches"?

CMU, MIT, Caltech, Stanford
