Suggestion: Ability to "Follow" Members

I have several threads bookmarked but, especially when people start posting where they were accepted/rejected and their stats, I would like to have the ability to “follow” them to see future posts about where else they end up getting into. There are also people who are very knowledgeable about certain processes such as scholarships, financial aid, etc. It would be nice to be able to “follow” them so that I am notified when they post in a thread that I wouldn’t normally open.

Love this suggestion!

Thanks for the suggestion, @lkg4answers! I’ve pass it on to the team.

Actually, sometimes it feels like one is being followed from thread to thread, and to be honest, its kinda creepy.

@jym626: This practice was allowed on another website. Seemed to result in some posters stalking others.

Exactly, @Publisher. If someone wants to read a poster’s posts, its simple to go to their homepage. I vote “NO” on this suggestion. (and would have put an emoji here if they were still available to be used, but at present they are still gone).

@CCadmin_Sorin if CC does decide to do this…I would like an “opt out” feature added so that I can’t be followed. If anyone wants to read my posts…they can easily already do so by gong to my profile, and saving it to their favorites. Then the can click on it and read away.

Also. There are already a lot of “moving parts” that don’t always work on CC. I wouldn’t add another moving part…at all.
