suggestions for a decently easy elective class?

I am an incoming sophmore transfer to cornell CALS as a bio major. I have room for one more course, and I wanted to take a fairly easy elective course. I am definitely taking Orgo- CHEM357 + CHEM300, Evolutionary Bio - BIOEE278, Intro Pysch- PYSCH101... and I was trying to find one more course to take. i was going to take physics, but i decided to give myself a break for my first semester at cornell, i don't want to stress myself out the second i get there. So I was looking at some courses like Biological Statistics - BTRY301, Intermediate Spanish II - SPANR219, Sociology of Heath and Ethnic Minorities DSOC220, Ethics in Health and Medicine - BSOC207..... does anyone have any experience with any of those classes? Or maybe any other classes that would be not impossible and somewhat fun... thanks!

Class 236: Easy and somewhat fun class!
BTRY301: My friend took and said it was very easy...take home exams!

i hear natural resources 201 i think

soc101 is a huge joke

I'd suggest looking through the median grade report. A high median (for a large, introductory class) usually signifies an easy class.

DSOC 101 is easy and interesting

PLPA 201(#?) Magical mushrooms is really fun, interesting and easy

Oceanography

Look at the median grade report, and from the classes with high medians.. find one that interests you. (And don't just do spanish, stats, marketing or something.. there are so many unique courses).

I'm taking Intro Italian..there's a time commitment, so it's not really a joke class...but seems pretty straight forward from the people I've talked to.

There is an entomology class offered fall semester called biology of the honeybee. Very easy, teacher's a totally laid back hippy type. Show up and don't sleep through it and there's no way to not get an A or A-. 2 credits for the lecture, 3 if you do the once-a-week optional lab where you play with bees. DSOC 101 is a joke if you're not concerned with being interested. Both of those classes will not only fill electives but they will count as CALS credit.

DSOC 101 is a huge joke.

AEM 210 is far easier than BTRY classes.

LA 140

BSOC 207 is a *****, tons of writing.

Best advice - go to ratemyprofessors.com and see what people say about the class.

If you're looking for an "easy" elective class, I wouldn't suggest Spanish 219. The material itself isn't that difficult, but it's a lot of busy work. I took the class freshman year and I wished I hadn't: I love Spanish and I'm good at it, but the class itself was simply God-awful. Just my opinion, anyway.
