Hey guys,
So I’m currently a sophomore and my courseload includes: APES, AP Calc AB, AP Physics B, APEC, English 3~4, and Physics 1-2. As my sophomore year is coming to an end, I hope to score all 5’s on my AP tests and do well. Unfortunately, I got a B in physics 1-2 (particularly my fault for avoiding hw assignments that proved to be a bit costly in receiving an 89.75%…). However, I have an A in AP Physics B and intend to keep it that way for the final quarter as well and score a 5 on the AP exam. Next year I’m taking AP Physics C Mechanics and Electromagnetics. I hope to get A’s in this as well and 5’s on both AP Exams. Although these are my intentions I know I’ll have to work hard for it. Assuming I reach my goals, I understand that my B will never go away but will Ivy League schools and UC’s really look at it considering I “redeemed” myself in Physics courses of much higher standards? Will they see it as an indicator of my scientific skills and processes or nothing more than a blemish on my GPA? Will they even care if I do as well as I hope to in the other physics courses?
Thanks a bunch,
Btw this is my frist post on CC, amazing contributions from everyone!
