I need some textbooks for World History, European History, and Psychology. Any suggestions?

hey just wanted to say i love your username. it's really awesome you can call yourself that :)

anyway....no suggestions

i liked zimbardo for psych, mostly because it covered all the topics featured in this year's exam.

textbook for psych- Myers... very informative and interesting to read. I think my teacher told us it was the most widely used textbook for AP psych

A History of Western Society by Hill was good for Euro. There are 2 books though, they cover different time periods, so you'll need them both.

Thankful for the suggestions but I was wondering if there are any, I don't know how to phrase this exactly, "enjoyable" textbooks? A little wit perhaps? Books that truly are a joy to go through but at the same time prepare on for the tests. I already have the latest Zumdahl Chemistry book so that has been taken care of, but what else is out there for Psychology, World History, and European History? I've heard that "The Story of Mankind" by Hendrik Williem Van Loon is supposed to be rather engaging, thoughts? Likewise, are there any supplemental reads that, while not necessarily helping on the AP test, would better flesh out the subject matter? "The Communist Manifesto" for European History, "An Interpretation of Dreams" for Psychology- books that would really help one realize the foundations upon which these events and studies were founded? Cheers.

alyssieann...you won't need both, you just need the second one that spans the era between the renaissance and the modern day. but i agree, go with mckay/hill/buckler

i must have had a different edition because i had 2 different books...

stf300, could you give me more info on the book you used? I'd just like to make sure I'm getting the right one.
