Suggestions for my "book report"

I am wondering if you can choose a book of poems, specifically "Paris Spleen" by Charles Baudelaire. His poetry is excellent, and one can do a nice comparison paper of his poems and analysis of them. "The Double Room" and "Artist's Confiteor" are worth checking out even if you can't write on them.

Cool... thanks guys. I've already read a good portion of your suggestions, and my friend is actually signed up for The Stranger already, so I think I'm gonna go with crime and punishment... I read the first chapter on Sparknotes (of the actual book, not the summary) and it was pretty good.

Feel free to keep making suggestions though... I'm sure it couldn't hurt for us to compare our favorite novels

Definitly The Great Gatsby ( As suggested earlier)!

There are a few lines in that I will NEVER forget.
