<p>I am wondering if you can choose a book of poems, specifically "Paris Spleen" by Charles Baudelaire. His poetry is excellent, and one can do a nice comparison paper of his poems and analysis of them. "The Double Room" and "Artist's Confiteor" are worth checking out even if you can't write on them.</p>
<p>Cool... thanks guys. I've already read a good portion of your suggestions, and my friend is actually signed up for The Stranger already, so I think I'm gonna go with crime and punishment... I read the first chapter on Sparknotes (of the actual book, not the summary) and it was pretty good.</p>
<p>Feel free to keep making suggestions though... I'm sure it couldn't hurt for us to compare our favorite novels</p>
