suggestions for my schedule (freshman)

<p>the courses that I'm currently signed for are</p>

<p>math 16a w/ Demmel
chem 1a w/ Stacy
psych 1
eps 9 w/ Berry
anth 2ac w/ Lightfoot
freshmen seminar</p>

<p>this is a total of 19 units but i'm thinking about which ones to drop because I just want to take the minimum number of units for the first semester. </p>

<p>which of these courses, besides math 16a and chem 1a, require relatively higher amount of workload?</p>

<p>or would you recommend me to drop math or chem or both?
i did not take ap chem or ap calc in high school, so i might be unprepared for these classes.</p>

<p>i'm pre-dent and am hoping to major in Env. Science.
by the way, is this major hard?</p>

<p>i heard eps 9 is kinda boring, but i'm not sure
environmental science is actually a fun major (i'm a conservation bio major).
if you want to take some environmental science classes,
i highly recommend espm 2, c11, or 14</p>

<p>vircabutar: I'm signed up for espm c11 right now. Why do we need clickers and are those used in lecture or discussion? Is it really necessary to attend lecture?</p>
