Suggestions for schools??

So i want to go to a small liberal arts college in the north east, but im not that knowledgeable about all the schools out there so i was looking for some help! but my guidance counselor has offered little to no help. haha all i could talk about was a school in the north east and she wouldnt stop mentioning schools in the south
anyways, this is my info
Im a white female from an affluent suburb on long island, i go to a public high school which is ranked somewhere in the top 100 schools in the nation by US news and world (doesnt really help my case, huh?)

GPA: 3.97 unweighted
SAT: 2180 (740M 700R 740W)
ACT: 33
SAT II: took math 2 and US in May (do i need 3 or is 2 enough??)
APs: Euro-3. took US, Stats, and Eng Lang this year (Junior)

Senior Schedule
AP Eco
AP Spanish
AP Physics
AP Calc BC
AP English Lit.
Latin 3 (ive been taking latin as a second language since 10th grade)

ECs

Ive held 2 part time jobs since the summer of 9th grade
one is as an assistant for a woman running her own business
and the other is as a book keeper of sorts for a woman's personal financial accounts

My recs will be very good, one from my math teacher (I have him twice a day for precalc H and AP stats) and the other from a spanish teacher (had her in 10, 11 but ive known her since 7 because she runs the Locks of Love club. we are very close)

The essay should be no problem and hopefully unique- im one of 10 so im going to write about that.

I dont know what i want to major in exactly (which is why i think liberal arts is right for me) but im interested in mathematics (Statistics), business, and languages.

Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!

Northeastern University and Boston College seem like good schools for you.
Why don’t you become an Economics major? It seems to be like that is what you will most likely be studying in college.

whoops, i forgot to mention i dont want to go to a city school. i like the idea of a tiny isolated college town, as werid as that sounds haha

Thanks for your suggestion though! im taking eco next year so we’ll see how i like it but its definitely a possibility

Did you look at this:
[Liberal Arts Rankings - Best Colleges - Education - US News and World Report](http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/liberal-arts-rankings)

Your stats look good for like a top 20 liberal arts colleges. Try Wellesley (think in MA) or Amherest or something?

Swarthmore, Haverford, Drew, Holy Cross, Brandeis.

If you decide to go to business school, like, as in the graduate level, make sure to also have some nice EC’s you like. Are you planning on doing Field Hockey in college too? What about a minor? Just make sure you don’t end up going into a college for it’s name and rank. Look for one that you know offers several things you like, not just one.

You might take a look at that book “Colleges that Change Lives.” It has a breakdown of liberal arts colleges by region and will give you some figures for grad school admissions. Many of them are located in the small towns that appeal to you.

These schools fit what you want: Amherst, Williams, Swarthmore, Middlebury, Bowdoin, Colby, Bates, Haverford. Your numbers should get you into the last three and give you some chance at the others
