<p>Citibank is right on campus. Chase is on 53rd street.</p>
<p>What I found is that it was invaluable to have a bank that had a branch I<a href=“not%20my%20kids”>/u</a> could get to easily. After a couple of crises that involved significant fees for bounced checks or wire transfers, I realized that with less effort than it took to wire money to my kid’s account I could (a) go to my bank’s ATM, (b) withdraw cash, (c) walk across the street to the local Citibank branch, and (d) deposit the cash directly into my kid’s account, with immediate crediting. The middle-class fee-free wire transfer!</p>

<p>Citibank. They have a contract with the university so not only are they right on campus and very easy to work with, but they have ATMs in Reynolds, Stuart, and other campus buildings.</p>
