suggestions

Im a rising senior looking for universities...im having lots of problems in terms of searching for my perfect university. </p>

<p>Some background info to take into consideration....
Im in between the top 5-10% in my class
Rank: 12/349
GPA: 3.96/4
10 & 11 ap classes: spanish language, spanish literature, world, ush, english lang.
Senior ap: physics, english lit., calculus, statistics, bio, eco & gov.
Clubs: art car, robotics (captain), ballet folklorico</p>

<p>im from a big city but raised in a small town, so i want toget away from the city and go to small towns. For example, cornell
Also, i come from a low income sallary family so im eligible for any scholarship
Some universities that i have in mind are: cornell, rice, stanford, MIT</p>

<p>Please comment in you have any info in the top universities for Engineering-thanks
Any info would help...suggestions for my sat scores, communityservice, preparation, best fit (anything)</p>

<p>You need to figure out your cost limit, and check the net price calculators at various universities to see what kind of financial aid they will give. Note that Stanford is extra-generous with need based financial aid, so do not assume that its financial aid is representative of other schools’ financial aid.</p>
