Hi I'm from singapore. I go to a top independent school here but I didn't do so well in my finals which brought down my average and position in school . I'm currently in grade 8.
Applying for grade 9.

Awards: 2 awards in improvements in academics and topped my class each term last year, top 10 in my level for history last year

Others: specially picked by vice principal for hong kong exchange programme and I learned Chinese for 6 years , I did a school based public service announcemt on homophobia

I have sat for my ssats and got a 95th percentile. I was wondering which boarding schools you guys could suggest with these qualifications ,I realize that the HADES schools are out of my reach so are there any other suggestions? I wish to go to boarding school to broaden my perspective .

You have described what you have accomplished, but have not described what you want:

have any particular academic focus?

pursue certain sports/activities?

prefer a big school or smaller school?

geographic preferences or constrainsts?

FA required?

prefer a lot of fellow int’l students?

etc? etc?

For academics im leaning more towards the arts such as painting, history, languages and literature.
I don’t need financial aid
I would like a school which could present me with many oppurtunities which is intertwined with community service, conservation projects maybe archaeology. Basically broadening my perspectives
School size, geographic location and number of international students don’t really matter
But I would like a school which is liberal and leans more towards the democratic side.
I hope you guys could help

Any suggestion?
