i'v been checking craigslist and i emailed a few real estate agents but seems like theres no places up yet for that far ahead</p>

<p>Call Fordham Lincoln Center. Explain your situation. There is likely a bulletin board with postings of available rooms. And FCLC may have something available as well in Lowenstein building for a reasonable fee. I don’t know what the rules are however, and whether non matriculated students can use it or not. But call and ask.</p>
<p>Frank, You might want to check out the Woodlawn section of the Bronx. The local parish is St. Barnabus. A safe and very Irish section of the Bronx with lots of Irish immigrants. Quick walk to metro north that takes you into Manhattan.</p>
<p>Google Aisling community center on McLean Avenue, Yonkers, NY (one side of the street is the Bronx, the other is Yonkers). Maybe they can give advice about apartments in their community.</p>
