Summer and Fall transfer?

Is it possible to apply for both summer and fall transfer for a college? So say if you get denied for summer, you could still get in during the fall?

In theory you could, I guess. But I’m not sure why you would. How much could your application approve in that short a time frame from flat out rejection in the summer to acceptance in the fall of the same year?

Well not even just that but I would go from about a 3.86 to a 3.9 from spring grades and I’m guessing it would be a different pool of applicants for each term so one might give me a better chance.

bump anyone else?

What schools? I don’t think the option for a summer transfer exist. There are summer and winter intersessions but those are for students who are already enrolled.

Emory specifically

I stand corrected. I haven never seen a school that accepted transfers for the summer term until now.

To your original question, I’m not sure. Although, I would probably say no because when you fill out an application they ask for a term. I don’t think you can selected a back-up term. Your best bet is to contact Emory directly and find out or seeing if you can select two terms on the application.
