Summer B Room Assignments Available

I received an e-mail from the Housing department informing me of my roommate and his contact information along with my physical address at UF. I got Murphee :)

I guess everyone is going to start looking everyone up on Facebook/MySpace...haha

I really enjoyed my stay in Murphree. It's very human compared to the other dorms on campus.

gthopeful, can you decipher an address for me? See your PM.

How is the student to bathroom ratio? i'm glad that it is a good dorm to be in.

For Murphree it's 3 to 4 rooms per bathroom. The hall is actually like 10-15 different sections that are separated from one another. Each block has 4 floors of 3 to 4 rooms, so it's very nice by UF standards in terms of communal living. The rooms are also quite spacious, relatively speaking.

I saw your address, and honestly I don't know what to think; Both times I stayed there I wasn't in a block that had that kind of room plan, and each dorm number was a large room with 2 beds. Every time I have been in a dorm though, whether your address ends in 01 or 02 made no difference; It just was a way to differentiate my address from my roommate's.

I got Lakeside, it looks pretty nice, although my 3 choices were Murphree/Jennings/Rawlings, respectively. Oh well, that's what I get for sending in my housing application late. Already contacted my roommates though, they seem nice :)

RC, I can decipher it for you, if you want. Murphree hall has 12 sections. I know, at least for fall, Murphree will be like 95% returners (second years and up).

I got Beaty!
(not sure if that's good or bad)

I got Murphree as well = D

Rawlings!!!

what kind of contact info did you get for your roommate?

name, phone number, e-mail.
