Summer@Brown or Leadership at Brown

Hey guys,
I just got accepted into Harvard’s summer program and I am planning to apply to Brown’s as well since it’s closer to my home. So, I am a little baffled as to which program is better for me? And if I can apply to both and can be accepted at one but not the other? Can I apply to Summer@Brown and Leadership at Brown? I have read in many other threads that Leadership at Brown is a harder to get into than Summer@Brown but Leadership at Brown is significantly better. If it helps, I am really into community service. I have over two hundred volunteer hours and I have a Vegan website and blog dedicated to my love for animals. I think Leadership is better for me? Since it’s more about community service, but why is it harder to get into?
Thanks

My S. is going to the Brown Leadership Program this summer and any information you have would also be welcomed by us. I do understand that it is very competitive and he is thrilled that he was accepted but he applied because he really liked the class being offered and did not know it was difficult to be accepted until after the acceptance was offered. If you have any other information about practical aspects of the program - please let us know.

@Marinpatsy I am glad that someone replied! I already talked to someone from Brown. Is there a certain GPA that you think you ‘S’ had? As he was able to get accepted and many others weren’t? Thanks for your help (:

Harvardreamss, I think they are looking for 3.5 and up. My S does not have a 4.0 but then his school is on a 4.0 scale (not a above). He does have a good ACT score. However, I do not know what they were looking for. I did not see his application before he applied. I am sorry. Please apply, I think it is a very good program.

@Marinpatsy I am definitely going to apply regardless! Thanks for your help
