I’m considering applying to this year’s summer@Brown, But I haven’t decided on a course yet, since almost every single course on the catalog seems fascinating, I decided I’d rather take a course where the professor is an actual professor at Brown. (so, no guest lecturer or graduate student…)

So what I’m asking is, can anyone provide me a list of Brown’s professors, so I can compare them. (Or, if you’re up for, it -but considering there’s 226 different courses, we’ll just assume that’s not likely- do it yourself)

Just find courses you like and google the professor’s name. If they are a regular instructor at brown, their name will pop up in the departmental faculty lists.

I’m pretty that’s what I’m gonna end up doing, since I’m not even sure such a list is available…
The thing is, I basically ALL the courses they offer, So the list seemed like a way simpler/ timesaving option.

Anyways, thank you for your advice.

Go by department. Let’s say you want to take a sociology class. Go to the Sociology Department website, find the list of professors, and cross check that list with all the sociology instructors on the summer@brown site. Should be quicker than googling everyone, especially because sometimes other stuff comes up before their research profiles or CVs.
