Summer@Brown

I’m currently a sophomore in high school, and looking into doing Summer@Brown for an enjoyable learning experience.
1. Does anyone have an experience there? I want to apply to Ethics: Theory and Practice and the Psychology of Gender, does anyone know of those particular courses?
2. I know I will probably get accepted, because the program is not particularly selective, but what is the likelihood of getting a Dean’s Scholarship? It would not be need-based, and I have decent grades, A’s and B’s in honors courses, but those are slipping up a bit.
3. I want to do two courses that are each three hours long, both afternoon and evening, how much homework should I expect for both of these two week courses?
4. My parents are uncertain of the direct benefits of a less selective summer program. What are the pros and cons from someone who has gone to the less intense two or three week programs? Expense is a factor.
5. Any miscellaneous advice you may have.
