Summer Calculus Course

Hey.

So, I am a high school senior who applied to Stanford via its RD program and have a question about which calculus course I should take this summer (and which would best prepare me for coursework at a school like Stanford).

I am taking AP Stat this year and really enjoy math, so I'm going to take a U of M (twin cities) summer course in calculus. However, there are quite a few options and, thus, I am asking you guys if you know which one would be the most appropriate and worth my time....here's the link to the course options -- Twin Cities Course Details : University Catalogs : U of M

Thanks!

Does anyone have a suggestion?

It depends on what classes you've taken so far. If you've taken precalculus but no calculus yet Calc 1 (I would ask them explicitly what the difference is between honors, IT, and normal), if you've taken AP Calc 1/AP Calc AB take Calc 2/AP Calc BC, and if you've taken that take Calc 3. By the way, essentially trigonometry/algebra 2 knowledge is enough to take calculus 1 even if you haven't taken precalc.

^ good advice

Yeah, I've taken precalculus, but not any actual calculus course, so I'm thinking Calc I. Thanks!
