Summer Classes

Is it realistic to take Chem14C/CL during one summer session and do well?

I am having second thoughts about taking 14C/CL together because of the workload I would be dealing with over a 6-week period. Should I take the the two classes during summer sessions or opt to take CL during fall of next year?

a lot of people do two classes over the summer, its more or less equivalent to 3-4 classes during the regular year

I took c and cl together over the summer. just to let you know, it's not easy. i had hardinger and henary, the two profs that teach it over the year anyway. it's exactly the same, things just move at a wayyy faster pace. lab meets 4 times a week for 3 hours a day. and you literally usually stay all 3 hours. there's literally a post and prelab due almost every single day.

Are the summer classes at UCLA really hard? I'm a high school junior right now, and I might consider taking some classes at UCLA. I'll probably look to take Calc BC/Multivariable and Physics(maybe).

Can anybody give me more information about this? The website was pretty confusing.

Thanks al ot

i took summer classes at ucla as a hs junior and senior, but granted they werent advanced calc/physics courses. i took intro courses and they werent that hard.

C/CL seems hard enough together over a regular quarter...can't imagine taking them over the summer simultaneously

I will just take 14C during summer sessions and take CL during the fall quarter.
