Summer course credit during the year of transfer?

For students who have been in a UC school since freshman year can obviously take summer courses to supplement their requirements.

However, could transfer students, take additional classes at their Californian community college during the summer even after being accepted and be able to add those credits to the overall transcript?

If this is not possible, would students at a UC school be able to take community college courses during their summer( as a UC junior)

Thank you for your thoughts. Personally, I need to satisfy a specific amount of credits in a subject area not related to my major, and it wouldn't matter how I would obtain those credits, but just that I obtain them legitimately to be shown on my transcript with the credits and everything.

Yes transfers can do that they just need to make sure it doesn’t exceed 70 Transferrable units total or else they will only get subject credit, and after summer semester submit a new official transcript to the UC they will be attending in the Fall.

You will have to notify your Admissions Officers that you want to take classes at the CC. They want to know everything about you now academically.
