during my undergraduate years, is it bad to take summer courses if i want to get into med school?

Its not bad or anything unless you’re taking a requirement at an easier school or something, then its looked down upon.

I personally would focus on other things such as clinical experience, shadowing, research, and volunteering.

oh - this might be answered somewhere on the courses thread but - i was wondering is it okay (i think it is) to take a non-pre-med req. class at a 4 yr institution during the summer? i was thinking of possibly taking a spanish class at like SUNY Stony Brook or something next year. As long as i do fine, this won’t be looked down upon right?

^ nope, that’d be fine. I took spanish at a CC - no problems.
