Summer Creative Writing Programs

Hi, I’m a high school junior looking at residential creative writing programs, preferably ones you need to get into. My top choices are Interlochen, Kenyon Review, and Iowa. Does anybody have any other suggestions? Or know anything about the application process, what they look for in a portfolio, “acceptance rates”, boarding? Thanks!

Rhodes College has a summer writing program:

Hey! I’m currently a student at Columbia University pursuing creative writing, and was accepted to Interlochen, Iowa, and Kenyon while I was in high school. I made a video with all my advice last year, which I think might be what you’re looking for, and please feel free to PM me here if you have any questions or would like me to read over your application!

Add Emerson’s pre-college. I went for digital film but my friends who did creative writing loved it.

JCamp is also a good one!
