Summer Dual Enrollment vs Fun Activities

I’ve recently been proceeding to do summer dual enrollment at my local community college. I’m only supposed to take one class which is Intro to Stat (basically AP Stat). I’d have it two times a week, three hours a day, for 2 months. However, because I do cross country (varsity) I’d miss a team bonding trip the same week as finals. I’d also miss a chance to do an engineering program at Tuskegee University. Should I drop the DE class for recreational time, or stick with it?

I’d do the engineering and sports stuff. Do something more interesting than going to class with your summers.

I totally agree. Do engineering and sports…you have enough time for courses during school. The only time I would say to take a summer course is if you were behind or wanted to get ahead in math so you could take calculus senior year. AP Stat is not a necessary class.
