I’ve heard Lake Claire is hard to focus at because of all the parties and frats. That’s mainly during the main school year though.

ah okay, well from what I’ve seen campus is pretty empty during the summer so that wont be an issue :>

So I still haven’t heard anything back. I applied back in October. I’ve been accepted at my #2 school, and have like 28 days left before I either pay my enrollment fee or pretty much lose my spot. I’m getting anxious here. I haven’t been deferred or denied, just gotten absolutely nothing back but “be patient.” I don’t want to waste $500 on my #2’s enrollment fee and then UCF admit me. Help?

My son hasn’t either, and it is driving ME crazy, he can care less. However, you should be able to request an extension with the school that already admitted you. My understanding is that you have until May 1 to actually make your final decision. My son will not be hearing from all the schools until mid April, and he may not make his final decision until then. Awards are sent to you some time after you are admitted, so check with the school. There is nothing else you could do but wait.

Try shooting UCF an email explaining youd love to go there and you are pressed for time. Email Dr. Gordon Chaviz.

Nonamestang – Do you know his email? I think that’s a wonderful idea. I’d rather be denied than not know.

UCF - Son was accepted for the summer term!

Congrats madodem! Would you please tell me when he applied and scores? Did they update after 5:00? Trying to figure out when they announce. So anxious!

His scores are UW GPA 3.7, don’t know the W GPA. SAT 1310.
He applied late October, but his file was complete late November. He is also waiting on the Burnett Honors response.
Good luck… they are taking very long to give responses. He checked today after 5 when we got home.

My scores are not as good. I wish they would just tell me!

Good luck and once again, congratulations!

Send them an email and let them know that you have being waiting. Sometimes they see you are really interested in the school and make a decision faster. Awfulalyssa was going to email Mr. Chavis… I think he has an important job in the admission department.

Just sent an email, hopefully it makes a difference!

Emailed Dr.Chavis about wanting to enroll for Summer 2013 rather than Fall 2013 and I got accepted. :)

I sent an email to the general email address. If I don’t hear by next week I will email Dr. Chavis. Congrats on your acceptance amourchoco!

My son emailed Ms. Costello, and almost immediately he was accepted. Try that… of course he applied late October, so he had a few weeks waiting.

Has anyone had trouble with fee waivers? I have sent my waiver twice and it seems as if they have yet to receive it.

just emailed mr. chavis. i applied in the middle of december for the fall term and am still awaiting a response.

@ bluejayy0909 Are you talking about the deposit fee waiver? If so how did you Get the application I can’t seem to find it online. Thanks in advance for your help.

If you are defered for a fall term, should that person reapply for a summer one?
