Summer housing

I am posting in this forum to request some information. My daughter is going to do a summer internship in Atlanta and one of the housing options we are looking at is through the Georgia Tech Intern Lodging Program.

<a href="https://www.conference.gatech.edu/internlodging/index.cfm%5B/url%5D">https://www.conference.gatech.edu/internlodging/index.cfm</a></p>

Can someone let us know what specific dorms/apartments we should request if we decide to go through this program? Is parking available? Are any of the options safer than others? Nicer? Are any near public transportation in case she doesn't take a car?
Thanks for your help. We are in the midwest so have no idea about the layout of the campus.

I think from what I read, the only building for this program is North Ave North. North Ave is pretty nice it was built in 1995 for the Olympia Athletes and then acquired by Tech. Atlanta is a big city after all and there are uncertainties regarding safety. But if you are smart and not make yourself an easy victim, then you are in good shape. Campus police also works pretty hard for crime prevention/deterrent. A lot of times (actually majority of incidents) happen in the nearby area which is off-campus and to non-GT affiliated people. Parking as the site says is available for 80 dollars a month. Depending on where she works, public transportation like MARTA may do it. But I highly suggest bringing a car especially if it’s only for over the summer. Having a car is just so much more convenient and flexible even if you have to battle through rush hour traffic.

Hope this helps.

Thanks much! This is very helpful.
