Summer Housing

Do you guys know when we find out where we are living for summer school? I signed up for university apartments but I have yet to find out...

^dude, same here....im going to the housing office tomorrow to find out

btw, did you take the stayover?

Oh really? Would you please let me know what they say? No i didn't take the stay over.. did you?

I signed up for the apartments last week for summer, and found out what building I would be staying in right after I made my payment online.

Really? What website did you check on?

The building was listed in the pdf on the application confirmation page.

You'll know your building, but probably not your room number until 1-2 days before move-in.

I got my room number and building through email 3 days ago..

I guess it changed this year. Last year, they didn't sort out and finalize room assignments until 2 days before, and I had to almost beg to find out in advance my room number.

I was living in Rieber, where will you live, yahooo?

Do you guys get a meal plan with like, swipes and stuff? Are they the same meal plans (cub, gold, premier, etc)?

i signed up for session c and no info yet on building or roommates... yahooo are you doing session A? im wondering about the meal thing as well, from what i heard only one dining hall is open for students? no bcafe, puzzles and rendezvous? :( sooo sad....

There is no premiere plan in the summer; only 15 and 21 is available.

Only Rieber Dining Hall will be open to summer session students. You may swipe at Bruin Cafe (probably 20% of the people didn't know).
You can't eat at the other dining halls because they are reserved for other residents.

I'm going to tell you that Rieber food is very repetitive; you'll see the same ribs probably twice a week.

Damn, I was gonna beg you for swipes :(

Where you going to live over the summer, pink?

so the 15 and 21 isn't premier? at least bcafe is open... it makes sense for session A since the residence stays at rieber, but session C students are staying in sproul... does that move the dining hall to covel? or do we have to walk up to rieber ugghh...

There's no premiere plan over the summer, I guess because there are international students who will attend and live in the dorms. They are immobile with their packages. Also, they expect as many people to bring their friends over in the summer I guess.

The housing assignment change poses a good question. De Neve and Hedrick are out of bounds after Rieber is in construction. I am confident that the primary dining hall would shift to Covel, in this case. I remember they allowed residents to eat at Covel for a few days when the Rieber Dining Hall served a cheerleading camp.

rieber dining hall isn't supposed to be affected by construction until winter quarter, so, they could still be mean and make the sproul people climb up to rieber.

i wouldn't be surprised.

Boha:

On Kelton.

BoelterHall: Yeah. I'm living in Rieber. How was the atmosphere overall? Was it noisy? Also, was the heat tolerable?

Kick53rv3: Yes. I'm doing both A and C. :[

hmm i wonder if the reason i haven't received anything from summer housing is because i am only doing session c...
