Summer Law/Political Internship

Hey Everyone,

I’m a student that is interested in being an intern in either a local law firm or a local political office. Is there anyone that can provide guidance on who to contact and what to say? Thanks!

Hey! I interned at Andrew Romanoff’s campaign. All I had to do was go on his website and there was a tab for interns, so I just filled out the information and they called me a week later. So just go on the person’s website you want to intern for and apply, or just call them. The only thing you may want to be prepared for is the people there may not be very kind or genuine, like in my case. It can be a very demanding position, but it all depends on your situation I guess. Make the most of it!

@yaytest33 Many law offices and political offices and campaigns will gladly offer a talented HS kid an internship, although now may be a bit late. Make a resume and cover letter and send it in ASAP. The worst thing that can happen is being told “no thank you.” Go for it!
