Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has taken Africam W111 during the summer with Small and any input they have about the class: whether it is hard or easy, the general feel of the class regarding workload, how much reading is expected, the composition of the class (papers, midterms, finals?), the grade they received, and anything else that could be considered of relevance.

Alternatively, if anyone has taken a class taught by Small before, if you could comment on teaching quality, grading difficulty, expectations, etc. that would be appreciated too! :)

Thanks a lot! And good luck on all your Finalz!

Race, Class, and Gender? My boyfriend took that class last summer and thought he wasn’t doing very well in the class but ended up with an A, so it seems pretty easy. Apparently the lectures are just Small’s head talking. There’s PowerPoint slides though, of course. Final was writing an essay within a day or so.

Hmm thanks for your input; it fulfills the Poli Sci History requirement so I’m debating on whether or not to take it. I can’t really imagine how an online class would be hard. Too bad I couldn’t find any grade distributions for it to make sureeee pshh
