I am a junior in the Bay Area and I am actively looking for opportunities for the summer. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should do over the summer as most applications are closed?
Look up your local MDA summer camp. They take younger than 18 yr olds as volunteers. They might still need help

Read. Find a list of reading students are expected to read and read. Volunteer. There should be all sorts of opportunities to volunteer at food banks, thrift stores, shelters, parks,…Learn how to cook, do laundry, but groceries, and other practical skills.
Get a job.
