<p>You might look into Songfest (Intern program) if she does not “mind” spending a chunk of the summer in Malibu. Though much of the focus is on art song, younger students also can work on opera scenes. The first auditions are in Los Angeles this weekend and continue to NYC, CCM,

<p>My son worked at his normal camp job and picked up about $2000 in tips and pay. He also was Asst Director of the camps theatre dept., directed several play, wrote music, etc.</p>
