Summer Plans?

Just curious as to what people are going to be doing this summer...
Will it be hardcore studying, being a lazy bum or something else?
Please be specific if you can :D

This all depends on my grades for second semester. If I get straight As, I’m allowed to take flying lessons, go sky diving, and go on a summer program to Africa. But since I have to pay for it all (except half of the summer program), it also comes with babysitting, teaching tennis, and tutoring kids. The rest of the time would be spent just chilling with friends. However, if I don’t get good grades then I have to take summer classes, babysit my brother, and do SAT prep. T____T

Possible internship, travel, longboarding, concerts, chillin!

going abroad, an internship, family vacations.

Lazy bum. My dad wants me to get a job. . .I guess I will, if I can find one. Either way I’m spending the summer in Florida, so basically beach, tan, etc.

Touring with a poetry group in Eastern Europe, mainly Russia.

Working at two camps, participating in another, a hiking trip I think, and just generally hanging out. lol Summer before college. It’s going to be a lazy one.

Working (hopefully at B&N…?)
Playing tennis for fun
Run a half marathon
Write a novel
Become proficient in Japanese
Learn shorthand

Touring colleges
Zelda
Getting AP scores back

I’ll hopefully get a job, but I know that I’ll for sure be attending a wedding, lots of graduation parties, and shopping for college!

Hang out with friends!
Shopping for dorm supplies.
Beach.
Sleepovers.
Being lazy.
Visiting/re-visiting the college I’ll attend.

Going to PAVE at Vanderbilt for 6 weeks! Going to be a ton of fun.

HOPEFULLY do the NSLI-Y program in India. ahh, my dream. If not, job/volunteering/play sims 3/cry about not going to India

You guys seem to have exciting summers laid out lol.

But seriously, maybe apply to several intense writing workshops and hope I get in to at least one good one with some kind of scholarship, since apparently my parents won’t pay for anything not science-related. (ahem, losers cough)

Eh, practice my instruments. Qualify for All-State again, but not embarrassingly and luckily on the edge. Actually become SKILLED.

Continue summer outreach for this annoyingly year-round club. Not looking forward to it. :/

Edit: Oooh, ooh, and since you guys so obviously are supposed to care, also get better at problem-solving for next year. (math)

Have that spa night sleepover my friends and I have been too busy to do for a year and a half lol. Sleep 10 hours per day. 8 just doesn’t cut it. And I really need to go shopping.

1) Do summer school so that I don’t have to waste a period on a Tech class.
2) Volunteer, volunteer, volunteer!
3) Do a three-week long medical camp. Not as cool as it sounds.
4) Go on a family vacation to California!
5) Hang out with friends, for sure.
6) Piano. Love it <3
7) Prepare for AP classes. I’ll have five next year. Yikes.

1) Applied to a few summer programs, so if I get in, I’ll be going to those.
2) Family vacation to Korea, maybe?
3) Volunteering!
4) Start a blog with a friend. :)

1) Whiskey, Gin, and Tequila
2) Molecular Biology Research Internship
3) Pong
4) Beach
5) Enjoy last summer with friends
6) Start reading the books for LitHum next year

1) PAVE @ Vanderbilt for 6 weeks
2) Standardized testing
3) Band camp
4) Guam

…yea, that’s about it.
can’t wait for #1 :D

I will be graduating HS this year, so this summer has to be amazing. I don’t have anything planned or set in stone, but here are some things I have in mind:

as many roadtrips/camping trips as possible

beach

just have a nice and chill time w/ my HS friends for the last time. do mischievous ****

go to at least a few summer parties

this may sound weird, but start going around the surrounding area of my future college, where ever that will be (probably in Seattle)

go out with a bang

Resting, definitely.
