I know this year’s summer program is finishing up and was hoping to get some details from people who attended. Who exactly is teaching the program? Did you decide to have your audition “count” at the end towards admission? If so, are you considered an early action applicant, assuming you get your application in on time? My rising junior son is thinking about applying to this program for summer 2017. (He went to CSSSA this summer.) Emerson’s flexible theater & performance BFA program is probably one of his top choices right now. Seems like most people agree, however, that you shouldn’t audition at your top choice early in the process. Would this be an exception to that rule where you’ve been there in the pre-college program for 5 weeks?
