Summer Program Overlap with School

<p>I'm applying to several summer programs this year. However, my high school ends in the last week of June and most of these programs start in mid-June. I didn't want to miss the deadlines for any of them, so I applied to everything I wanted to while I was talking to my counselor. </p>

<p>To go to my top choice program, I'd have to miss the last 9 days of school, meaning I'd have to make up 6 finals and probably one or two tests. Do you think it's worth it to go to a prestigious summer program if I have to miss so much school?</p>

<p>(Note that since my school ends so late, I'd have to miss school regardless of which program I attend.)</p>

<p>Yeah I’m going to miss school as well if I get into one of them, just take your finals early!</p>

<p>It’ll definitely be worth it (especially if you get into an RSI-type program). Just take your finals early.
haha I have the opposite problem - I miss the beginning of school:P</p>
