Summer Program Scheduling Help

Hi, I'm trying to figure out my schedule for the summer after my junior year and I'm just trying to place everything. I want to apply for the TASP Cornell Program, but I know if I do, chances are, I'll miss the first two weeks because I am also going out for Boys State in Florida and I want to attend Key Club International Convention.

I'm here just to get some advice on the subject matter. If there are any other summer programs that are perhaps for flexible, I might apply to those too. But any advice on how I should try to work this out will be appreciated.

my understanding is that TASP is not flexible -- when you go, you agree to attend the entire program. You might plan on applying and then think about where you really want to go once invitations are on hand. You will have to make some choices as to what is the best fit for you.

There are a ton of summer programs out there -- many with different starting and ending dates. You might do some searches on the internet and write down some possibilities.

TASP>>>>>>>>>>anything dumb like Boys State

I agree, Ryan. I agree.

You do not want to go TASP if you're willing to miss the first two weeks of it.

I'm sure TASP would never let you miss two weeks. there are too many people who really want each spot badly enough they'll schedule their summer around it.
