What are some nice summer programs for incoming HS freshmen (current 8th graders)? A focus in STEM would be great. If anyone has attended any, please share your experiences. Thanks!
The MIT You Go! Girl program is one of the best out there! (I’m not sure if you’re a boy or a girl, but obviously this would be for girls only) I went two years ago and it was hands-down one of the best experiences of my life and got me really excited for high school STEM
It’s a day program but there aren’t a lot of residential STEM programs for people that young. If you don’t live in the Greater Boston Area, a lot of people also traveled from afar and then stayed in a hotel and explored Boston in the evenings:)
